Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis player, freshman Alexandra Kichoutkin won her third C-USA Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor this season after two singles victories this weekend against Middle Tennessee State and Wichita State. Kichoutkin's previous weekly honors were for the week of February 5 and February 19.

Kichoutkin moved to 12-2 for the No. 38-ranked Golden Hurricane after winning both of her singles matches this weekend in Wichita, Kan. Against Middle Tennessee State, she defeated Ann Siljestrom, 6-3, 6-2 at position No. 1 in Tulsa's 7-0 victory. In TU's 4-3 loss to No. 47-ranked Wichita State, Kichoutkin beat Anna Egorova at the No. 1 position, 6-4, 6-7 (7-10), 6-1. She is 5-2 at No. 1, 2-0 at No.2 and 5-0 at No. 3.

Kichoutkin along with partner Jie Zeng also won in doubles, downing MTSU's Shannon Hartmann / Stphanie Parkison, 8-7 (7-4). Against the Shockers, the team of Kichoutkin / Zeng norrowly lost to Torrie Browing / Florentina Hanisch, 8-7 (9-7). The pair is 10-3 on the season in doubles.
