Tulsa, Oklahoma - The 32nd-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team will host instate rival and 27th-ranked Oklahoma State at 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday at the Harwell Tennis Courts on the TU campus.

The Tulsa-Oklahoma State match also marks a battle between the top-ranked teams in the Central Region. Last season, Tulsa finished the year as the top squad in the region.

The match will feature two of the nation's top singles players and doubles teams. Tulsa sophomore Aleksandra Durska is ranked 87th nationally in singles, while OSU senior Maria Galoustova-Phillips is right behind Durska at No. 88.

In doubles, the TU tandem of senior Jennifer DeSpain and junior Jana Sedivec is ranked as the 17th-best doubles duo in the country, while the Cowgirls counter with Phillips and junior Ashleigh Dolman at No. 27.

Tulsa is 8-1 overall this season, while Oklahoma State is off to a 9-3 start. The last time the Hurricane and Cowgirls squared off was a year ago in Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane routed the then 45th-ranked OSU, 7-2.
