SKILLMAN, N.J. - Two University of Tulsa women's tennis student-athletes moves up in the International Tennis Association poll released on Tuesday.

Senior Samantha Vickers moves up two spots from No. 79 to No. 77. Vickers has posted a 21-7 record this season, including a 10-3 record in dual matches at the No. 1 singles position. She has won her last three matches and has posted a 6-3 record against regionally ranked opponents.

Vickers ranks fourth with 106 career singles wins and sixth with 83 career doubles wins in school history.

Freshman Yelena Nemchen returns to the rankings to No. 115. Nemchen has posted a 16-5 record this season, including an 8-3 record in dual matches. Nemchen had her six match winning streak snapped against California a week ago.

The Golden Hurricane fell two spots from No. 19 to No. 21 after losing to host No. 16 California 7-0 last Tuesday.

The Golden Hurricane (12-4) faces No. 44 Wichita State on Saturday at noon at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
