Women's Tennis Moves Up Two Spots to No. 19 in ITA Poll

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team moved up two spots from No. 21 to No. 19 in the International Tennis Association poll released on Tuesday.
The Golden Hurricane (13-4) defeated its only opponent last week with a 6-1 win over No. 44 Wichita State on Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa lost five of the six first set singles against the Shockers and had three matches that Tulsa trailed in the second set, 5-1, 5-2 and 4-0. But the Golden Hurricane won all three second sets to force a third set and won all three third sets.
The Golden Hurricane travels to Louisville, Ky., to face William and Mary on Saturday at 11 a.m. and host No. 49 Louisville on Sunday at 11 a.m.
