Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team will host Pac-10 Conference member Oregon at 12 noon this Friday at the Harwell Tennis Courts. Admission to the event is free.

Tulsa (11-6) is 5-2 at home this season and 17-4 over the last three seasons on its home court. The Hurricane, which is 3-2 in its last five matches, is coming off a 5-2 win over Arkansas-Little Rock. TU's top doubles tandem of senior Jennifer DeSpain and junior Jana Sedivec is ranked as the nation's 49th-best doubles team.

Oregon (4-13, 0-7 Pac-10) suffered 11 straight losses before it captured a 6-1 victory over Pacific in its most recent outing. Last year in Las Vegas, Nev., Tulsa downed the then 43-ranked Ducks, 6-3.

In this week's WingspanBank.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings, the Golden Hurricane is ranked No. 34 nationally. TU's ranking is the third-highest among Western Athletic Conference schools and the second-highest among Central Region squads.
