Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa Head Women's Tennis Coach Paige McMurray announced today the signing of one of the world's top junior tennis players, Carla Zabaleta, to a national letter-of-intent.

A left-handed player from Mar del Plata, Argentina, Zabaleta has owned a No. 240 singles ranking and a No. 132 doubles mark in the International Tennis Federation rankings. She has also recorded a No. 870 singles ranking and a No. 786 doubles mark in the Women's Tennis Association rankings. She has posted wins over players ranked in the ITF Junior top-50 and the WTA top-400.

"We are thrilled to have Carla join us at The University of Tulsa," said McMurray. "She will bring a stellar junior career and years of tough international experience with her to Tulsa."
