Tulsa Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Learn Opponents in NCAA Selection Show Tuesday

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's and women's tennis teams learn their opponents in the National Collegiate Athletic Association selection show live at ncaa.com on Tuesday.
The men's selection show is schedule for 4 p.m., while the women's selection show is at 4:30 p.m.
The men's team receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Conference USA Championship and is currently ranked No. 45 in the International Tennis Association poll, released last Tuesday, April 22.
De Klerk has posted a 13-13 record this season, including a 12-9 record in dual competition and an 11-8 record at the No. 1 position. Marsland has posted a 18-6 record this season, including a 16-5 record in dual competition and a 15-4 record at the No. 2 position.
The Hurricane also has a doubles duo ranked of No. 24 Marsland and sophomore Dylan McCloskey. The duo has posted a 17-9 record this season, including a 15-8 record at the No. 1 position and is the highest doubles duo ranked in C-USA.
The women's team is looking for an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament after falling to No. 29 Rice 4-2 in the C-USA Championship match. The Golden Hurricane is currently ranked No. 21 and has been in the top-30 all season.
Freshman Marcelina Cichon leads the Golden Hurricane with a 30-6 record this season, which ranks as the ninth most in school history and fourth most in school history by a freshman. Cichon has posted an 18-3 record in dual competition, including an 11-0 record at the No. 6 position.
Senior Maria Sant'Anna and sophomore Renata Kuricova both has 22 wins this season. Sant'Anna has posted a 22-12 record this season, including a 10-6 record in dual competition, while Kuricova has posted a 22-11 record this season, including a 9-7 record in dual competition.
Kuricova and Cichon has posted a 12-3 doubles record this season, including an 8-0 record at the No. 3 position. The duo won their first 11 matches of the season.
First and second round regional action will be played May 9-11 at 16 campus sites and the later rounds, including singles and doubles tournament are set fro May 15-26, which will be played in Athens, Ga., hosted by the University of Georgia. The field for the singles and doubles tournament will be announced a day later on Wednesday.
