ATHENS, Ga. - The draws for the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles Championship were announced Tuesday morning.

Senior Anastasia Erofeeva, the nation's No. 49-ranked player, will face No. 9 Lauren Embree of Florida at 4 p.m. May 23 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Erofeeva owns a 29-10 overall mark with a 19-7 record this spring playing at the top of the TU lineup. She owns a 6-7 mark against ranked competition.

The junior member of the Gators will compete at noon today for a team national championship against UCLA. She owns a 28-5 overall record and a 21-2 mark this spring. Embree reached the 2011 NCAA Singles Championship semifinals, where she retired due to injury.

Erofeeva will be the first Tulsa player since 2005 to compete in the singles championship (Daniela Muscolino). She will also become just the fifth women's tennis player in school history to play in the tournament.

The winner of the match will face either No. 28 Cristina Stancu of Maryland or No. 53 Nazari Urbina of Texas A&M in the second round.
