Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team finished the season ranked 29th in the nation, while junior Samantha Vickers completed the year ranked 22nd nationally and teamed with sophomore Isaura Enrique to finish the year ranked No. 14 in the nation in double competition, according to the ITA Division I National Tennis Rankings.

The Golden Hurricane made its seventh straight appearance to the NCAA Championship and finished the season with an overall 19-7 record

Vickers finished the season ranked No.22 in singles as she finished the season with an overall 32-5 record, the third-most wins in school history. She enjoyed a 17-match winning streak in singles play and advanced to the round of 32 at the NCAA Singles Championship. Vickers was named the Conference USA Player of the Year.

Tulsa's No. 1 doubles team of Vickers and Enrique completed the year ranked No. 14 in the country, posting a 35-5 overall record. The duo had an 11-match winning streak and picked up 11 wins against ranked opponents this season.
