TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's tennis team will compete at the Razorback Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas October 5th through the 7th. This marks the second meet of the fall campaign for the Golden Hurricane.  

About The Tournament: The Razorback Invitational features Arkansas, Houston, Missouri, Stephen F. Austin and Tulsa. Each day of the tournament will begin with doubles play at 9 a.m. with singles matches starting at 11 a.m. Arkansas will host a live blog during the event where fans can track the Tulsa players in action. 



Last Time Out: TU took home four individual titles during the final day of the Aces For The Cure Tournament hosted by the University of Missouri at the Plaza Tennis Center on Sunday, September 23.

In singles play, Samantha Vickers defeated Elisha Gabb of Missouri, 6-3, 6-4, to remain undefeated on the weekend to win the No. 1 singles title.

Maria Sant'Anna beat Missouri's Maria Christensen, 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 to be crowned the tournament's champion at No. 4 singles.

In doubles play, Michelle Farley and Saana Sarteinen were named the tournaments No. 2 doubles champions after an 8-5 victory over Princeton's Amanda Muliawan and Monica Chow.

Sant'Anna teamed up with Renata Kurikova to defeat Katie Goepel and Emily Hahn of Princeton 8-5 at No. 3 doubles to finish the weekend 2-0 to win the tournament title. 

Up Next: Tulsa will host the ITA Regional Tournament October 18-22 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. This marks the first home tournament for TU during the fall season.
