MEMPHIS, Tenn. -

The Tulsa women's tennis team completed its second-to-last tournament of the fall campaign with the Memphis Invitational on Sunday, November 4.

Belen Rivera defeated Allie Robbins of Ole Miss 6-3, 6-2 in round robin play as the freshman went a perfect 2-0 on the weekend in singles play after dispatching Maggie Leavell of Vanderbilt 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-1 on Saturday 

Fellow freshman Carol Benito picked up a victory on Sunday as she defeated Oklahoma's Abbi Melrose 6-7, 6-3, 6-3.  Freshman Saana Saarteinen fell in the Gray Draw final to Skylar Kuykendall of Memphis 6-1, 6-2.

Junior Sam Vickers and freshman Isaura Enrique will compete for TU at the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in Flushing, N.Y. November 8-11.
