FLUSHING, N.Y. -

Junior Samantha Vickers and sophomore Isaura Enrique saw their run at the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship draw to a close on Friday, November 9, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Vickers and Enrique were defeated by Stephanie Nauta and Li Xi of Virginia, 8-6, in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The round before Nauta and Xi, ranked No. 41 in the nation, knocked out the tournament’s No. 4 seed Melissa Kopinski and Rachael White, 8-4.

This marks the end of the fall campaign for the Golden Hurricane.
