POST MATCH QUOTES
Baylor Head Coach Joey Scrivano
On the match...
"I thought we played well today, I was proud of how our players came out in doubles and took the point. In singles we had some tough match-ups today, going into this match I really thought Miami had some favorable match-ups in a bunch of courts. We knew it was going to be a real battle and I'm really proud that our team found a way to win."
On starting and stopping the matches...
"It makes it very difficult on the players in the preparation, the mental preparation because once they get their bodies going they want to play. When they have to stop and take a break and re-warm up it is something that is difficult to handle."
Baylor Player Zuzana Zemenova
Advantages of speaking same language (other than English) with your doubles partner...
"It's a good advantage. She is also my really good friend. We support each other all the time. Sometimes the same language helps, but the main advantage is that we are really good friends."
Miami Coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews
Your thoughts on the match...
"It was a tough draw. We've had a great season, but Baylor played great tennis today. They stepped up the right times in doubles, and change the momentum and it was tough for us to get it back. With the exception of one position in singles and one position in doubles, I'm really happy with the rest of the team and how they competed and left it out here."
Did stopping the match and starting again factor into the match?
"No. Both teams have to do the same thing. I don't think that affected the match at all."
