"Well, it was really hard, it was a tough match. I knew I had to fight because I knew my team needed me. I think the thing for me was in the first-set when I was down 4-3 and 40-love and I came back and it was 4-all. Then I just knew I had to fight for every single point like it is last point and I did it. In the second-set, I challenged myself and I came back and won."

"It was a tough match. We got outplayed today. They came back in the doubles and that was pretty inspiring, obviously, for them. They were good today."

Did the experience of Baylor's Zuzana Zemenova play a factor in the win over Hilary Barte at No. 1...
"I don't know if it was that. I wouldn't chalk it up to that. There were a lot of things going on in that match, but I'm not sure the experience factor was the deciding one. Zuzana played well, and Hilary had some issues."

POST MATCH NOTES

Baylor improved its record on the year to 32-2 . . . the Bears won their 15th straight match . . . Baylor advances to the semifinals for the first time in school history . . . the loss snapped a 10-match winning streak for the Cardinal . . . it's only the second loss for Stanford in its last 28 NCAA Tournament matches, as the only other loss came last year in the semifinals against UCLA . . . the Cardinal ends the season with a 23-5 record . . . the last time Stanford did not advance to the semifinals came in 1985 when the tournament was played in another Oklahoma city as Oklahoma City hosted the 16-team finals . . .
