Stanford Head Coach Lele Forood
On advancing to the quarterfinals...
"We're extremely happy with the match today, happy with the win. Clemson is a very tough opponent. They had an incredible end to the season and we knew we were going to be in for a great battle. We got off to a good start in the doubles matches, and then we carried some momentum into the singles. Matches really see-sawed a little bit and we were able to finish three of them in straight sets."

On Hilary Barte going 19-0 in her last 19 matches at No. 1...
"She has been an inspiration for the whole team, especially when she took the No. 1 job in February. The team has drawn a lot of confidence from her play and her results. It is phenomenal to win as many quality matches that Hilary has won in a row this year."

#3 Hilary Barte, Stanford
On her match...
"I knew coming in that she would be very good, so I came ready to play. She did too, and it was tough."

On going 19-0 at No. 1 singles...
"I love my team. It is great playing for them, with them and next to them. They are defiantly a big part of the 19. We just go out there every day and try to win our own matches."

On the advantages and disadvantages of being 5'5"...
"I'd say the advantages are that I am lower to the ground, so my center of gravity is a little lower. I like to think I'm quick. The disadvantages are that my team teases me."
