AS A SOPHOMORE: Started in all 33 matches for the Hurricane . . . led the team in games played (117) and solo blocks (16) . . . finished second on the team in block assists (75) and total blocks (91) . . . was fourth on team in service aces (24), attacks (653) and hitting percentage (.237) . . . recorded double-digit kills in five matches including a season-high of 13 kills twice, the latest occuring against SMU in a four-game TU victory . . . finished season with four double-doubles . . . earned Academic All-WAC team honors.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in 25 overall matches and all 14 WAC matches . . . recorded a season-high eight kills in second match against UTEP . . . had 28 attempts in second match against Rice . . . averaged 2.29 digs per game, including four double-digit matches . . . nearly averaged a kill per game, after finishing with 64 kills in 65 games . . . earned a spot on the WAC All-Academic Freshmen team.
PRIOR TO TULSA: Was a three-year letterwinner at Garland High School . . . was selected to the Texas Girls’ Coaches Association All-Star Team that played in the East-West All-Star Girls’ Volleyball Match . . . named the District 10-5A Hitter of the Year as a senior . . . earned District 10-5A first-team honors in 1997. . . helped lead her prep team to a third-place district finish in 1998 . . . was the bronze medalist at the Texas State Championships in the high jump as a senior . . . won the conference triple jump championship in 1997 and 1998 and won the high jump title in 1998 . . . also earned four letters in track and field.
