Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Freshman (2011): Played in 30 matches and 101 sets ... totaled 540 assists (5.35 a/s), 23 service aces (0.23 sa/s) and 131 digs (1.30 dig/s) ... recorded at least 20 assists in 12 matches, and at least five digs 14 times ... played the final 28 matches when TU switched to a 6-2 offense ... dished 22 assists with a season-high three aces vs. Cal Poly (9/9) ... recorded 21 assists and five digs vs. No. 4 Illinois (9/10) ... tallied 21 assists and a season-high eight digs at North Carolina (9/16) ... recorded 26 assists and seven digs vs. SMU (10/5) ... recorded 26 assists and seven digs vs. Southern Miss (10/9) ... tallied a season high 32 assists and five digs vs. UAB (10/30) ... dished 22 assists and matched her season-high with three aces vs. UCF (11/18) ... recorded seven digs with 18 assists in the NCAA Tournament win over Oklahoma (12/2).
High School:Was a four-year letterwinnner in volleyball at Canyon Creek Christian Academy ... was a four-time Texas all-state selection, including being named first-team twice ... led her team to three Texas state championships - two in Class 3A (2008 and 2009) and one title in Class 4A in 2007 ... competed for Dallas Premier Volleyball Club, which finished as a bronze medalist at the 17 USA Junior Olympic Open Division tournament in 2010 ... also lettered twice in track and field.
