Kyle Gamble is in his first season as assistant coach at The University of Tulsa

Gamble comes to Tulsa as a recent graduate of McNeese State University, where he received his bachelor of science degree in general studies, with an emphasis on human performance. A coach's son, Gamble spent his college career as a student assistant coach to his father, Terry Gamble, most recently at McNeese State. The younger Gamble has been an assistant coach at the collegiate level for six years, as well as serving as a club volleyball head coach for six years.

Prior to his stint at McNeese State for the 2010-11 year, Gamble spent a year at Midland College, two years at Iowa Western Community College and two years at St. Clair Community College. He also served as Junior Varsity Head Coach at Midland College.

Gamble has been a club volleyball head coach, most recently for the Cowgirl Volleyball Club 16-Under team since 2010. He also coached the Omaha Wave Volleyball Club 17-Under and 16-Under from 2009-10, the Top Ten Volleyball Club 18-Under and 16-Under from 2007-09, and the Michigan Elite Volleyball Club 15-Under squad from 2006-07.

Gamble has coached at college summer camps for several schools, including Creighton, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, McNeese State and Texas Tech.

Gamble graduated from McNeese State in May 2011. He lives in Tulsa with his wife, Regan.
