Volleyball Begins Preparations For 2012 Campaign With First Practice

Nine letterwinners from last year's squad return looking to build off last season's success

Career at Tulsa: A two-year letterwinner … has played in three career matches.

Junior (2014): Sat out the year.

Sophomore (2013): Played in one match and recorded one dig against East Carolina (10/20).

Freshman (2012): Appeared in two matches and played two sets … played against East Carolina (9/23) … also appeared in the match against Northwestern State (11/23).

High School: Was a four-year letterwinnner and starter in volleyball at Blue Eye High School … became the first Division I volleyball player from her high school, and the second Division I athlete in her high school’s history … was a first-team All-Tri-Lakes and first-team Southwest Conference League selection as a senior … also a Missouri Academic All-State selection as a senior … led her team in kills (292), blocks (71) and services aces (71) as a prep senior … led her team in blocks and kills all four years … totaled 804 kills, 315 blocks and 126 service aces in her career … also played basketball for three years.
