NEW ORLEANS - Tyler Henderson and Diana Silva each recorded 17 kills and Jessica Adams tallied 20 digs to lead the Tulsa volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-14) win, completing the Conference USA weekend sweep at Tulane Sunday afternoon at Fogelman Arena.

The Golden Hurricane ran its winning streak to 10 matches and improved its record to 23-5 overall and 14-1 in C-USA play. The Green Wave fell to 9-17 overall and 4-11 in league play, and was led by Izabela Grot, who had 12 kills.

Silva picked up her 11th double-double of the season, adding 13 digs to her 17 kills, while Henderson hit at a .361 clip in the match. Jordan Clampitt led the Hurricane with 25 assists and had seven kills, and Bailey Clampitt added 14 assists. Kellie Culbertson contributed 12 digs and five kills and Miriele Gobbo hit .500 with four kills.

"I know their record doesn't show it, but Tulane has a nice team. We had to play well this weekend to win both matches, and that was good for us," Tulsa Head Coach Steven McRoberts said. "Tyler had another great match, Diana played well again, getting 17 kills in three sets. Jess had another great match with 20 digs. Watching them (Tulane) on film, I knew it would be tough and we would have to play well. Again, it's nice anytime you can win 3-, especially on the road."

Tulsa hit .283 as a team (49-17-113) with 49 kills, 47 assists, seven service aces, 57 digs and 5.0 blocks. Tulane hit .133 (29-15-105) with 29 kills, 28 assists, zero aces, 44 digs and 10.0 blocks.

"We need to have a good week of preparation because we have two tough match next weekend at Rice and Houston,' said McRoberts. "We have a chance to clinch (the C-USA championship) next weekend if we can play well and keep winning."

The Golden Hurricane will be on the road next weekend as well, as it travels to Houston to face Rice at 7 p.m. on Friday and Houston at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
