• Tulsa won an NCAA Tournament match for the second year in a row. It is the second NCAA postseason win in program history. TU defeated No. 13 LSU, 3-0, in 2010.

• Tulsa also picked up its second win over the in-state rival Sooners in series history. OU now leads the series, 32-2.

• With the win over Oklahoma, Tulsa is now 5-3 this season against teams that made the NCAA Tournament field. The Golden Hurricane also owns wins over Albany, North Dakota State and North Dakota State. TU lost to Illinois, Florida State and Kentucky.

• Junior outside hitter Tyler Henderson recorded 30 kills in Friday's match. It was the second time she has eclipsed 30 kills in a match this season, and the most in a four-set match. She tallied 33 kills in five sets against Illinois on Sept. 10.

• Henderson recorded at least 30 kills in a match for the fourth time in her career, and the first time in a four-set match.

• Sophomore outside hitter Kellie Culbertson 17 kills and 15 digs against Oklahoma, posting her 13th double-double of the season. The 17 kills were a career high for the Long Beach, Calif., native.

• With the win on Friday, Tulsa improved to 5-2 in neutral-site matches, 25-2 when it wins the first set, and 12-0 when playing on Friday this season.

• By statistics, Tulsa improved to 26-2 when leading in kills, 26-2 when leading in assists, 23-2 when leading in service aces, 18-5 when trailing in blocks, 7-2 when trailing in digs, and 3-6 when trailing in attack percentage. TU also improved to 27-3 when hitting above .200 in a match, and 8-6 when its opponent hits above .200 in a match.

• Tulsa and USC will meet for the first time in the respective programs' histories. Tulsa is 2-6 all-time against current Pac-12 schools, including 0-1 vs. California, 1-0 vs. Colorado, 0-1 vs. Oregon State, 0-2 vs. Utah, and 1-2 vs. Washington State.

• The Golden Hurricane will play in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season. TU lost at Oklahoma, 3-2, in 2010.
