IRVING, Texas - Senior outside hitter Kellie Culbertson was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

"She had another great weekend for us," TU head coach Steven McRoberts said. "She does so many things for this team and she had a really solid weekend hitting. Her offensive numbers were great, but also she did a tremendous job in serve receive, serving, blocking and digging. I'm really happy for her. She's been right there on the cusp of winning a number of these player of the weeks, so I'm proud for her that she finally gets recognized for what she does for our team.

"She and I had a conservation last week about her play and how proud of her I was about her play. She has 100 percent brought in to try to win another championship. Even though I know that she's proud to win this individual award, she is putting all of her efforts into helping us win that fourth championship."
