TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa volleyball team will travel east to Memphis, Tenn., to take on the Memphis Tigers on Thursday, October 25 in a 7 p.m. tilt.

After its matchup against the Tigers, the Golden Hurricane returns back to Green Country to take on UAB on Sunday, October 28, in a 1 p.m. matinee at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Tulsa enters this weekend in first place in the Conference USA standings with a 16-8 record and a 9-1 conference mark. TU is a half game up on Rice, who sits in second place in the standings. The Golden Hurricane ranks sixth in the nation in kills per set with 14.68 kills per frame. Tulsa also ranks ninth in the NCAA in assists per set with 13.60 and 19th in digs per set with 17.82. TU leads C-USA in all three categories.

As a squad, Tulsa is hitting .212, which is the third best attack percentage in C-USA, while opponents hold an attack clip of .179, the second best mark in the league. The Hurricane allows the fewest service aces in the league as foes only average 0.56 services aces per set.

Senior outside hitter Tyler Henderson leads the nation in kills per set averaging 5.24 per frame and ranks second in the country in points per set with 5.75. Additionally, during her last three matches, Henderson is averaging an attack percentage of .455.

Senior libero Jessica Adams paces the conference averaging 5.24 digs per frame, which ranks 34th nationally. During the conference season, Adams is averaging 6.13 digs per frame.

Junior outside hitter Kellie Culbertson is ranked 49th in the nation in aces per set with a 0.39 average. She ranks second in the team in kills per stanza with 2.64, and third in digs per frame with a 3.30 clip.

Memphis enters Thursday's tilt with a 9-16 ledger and a 4-6 conference record. The Tigers have won three of their past four matches after a four-game losing skid. Memphis is led by Altrese Hawkins, who paces the team in kills per set with a 3.79 mark and Aleksandra Petronijevic, the team leader in digs per frame with a 4.28 average. As a squad, the Tigers are hitting .191 while foes hold an attack percentage of .215.
