TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa volleyball team hosts its final two home matches of the season against Tulane on Friday at 7 p.m. and Marshall on Sunday at noon at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Tulsa (21-4, 10-0 C-USA) will honor both of its seniors on Sunday, outside hitter Kellie Culbertson and middle blocker Miriele Gobbo. TU's Student Athlete Advisory Committee is colleting non-perishable items for the "Let's SAAC Hunger" drive on Sunday.

The Hurricane extended its winning streak to 13 when it defeated Middle Tennessee State on Friday night 3-1 (25-22, 25-19, 19-25, 25-13). Senior middle blocker Miriele Gobbo recorded a career-high seven total blocks, 10 kills and had a .450 hitting percentage against the Blue Raiders. The Curitiba, Brazil native was named the C-USA Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for her efforts.

Culbertson leads TU with 3.48 kills per set, which ranks 10th in the C-USA, and with 0.57 service aces per set, which leads the C-USA and ranks fifth in the NCAA.

Junior setter Bailey Clampitt leads TU with 7.42 assists per set and freshman libero Brooke Berryhill leads with 4.51 digs per set, which ranks sixth in the C-USA. The Hurricane leads the NCAA with 18.72 digs per set.

Tulane (22-3, 8-2 C-USA) is led by Tea Juric with 3.85 kills per set, Mel Mandelbaum with 11.53 assists per set and Grace Weaver with 4.53 digs per set.

The series between the Green Wave and the Hurricane is knotted up at 10 wins apiece, but TU has won the last seven meetings.

Marshall (14-13, 7-4 C-USA) is led by Laura Der with 3.35 kills per set, Sammie Bane with 10.40 assists per set and Dorothy Rahal with 3.98 digs per set.

The Golden Hurricane holds an 8-2 advantage over Marshall and TU has won the last seven meetings.

The Golden Hurricane finishes the regular season in Texas as it travels to UTEP on Friday at 8 p.m. and UTSA on Sunday at 1 p.m.
