TULSA, Okla. - The 2011 Conference USA Champion Tulsa volleyball team closes its home schedule this weekend as it plays host to UCF and UTEP at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

The Golden Hurricane (25-5, 16-1 C-USA), which clinched the Conference USA Championship last weekend, plays the Knights (18-10, 10-7 C-USA) at 7 p.m. Friday, and the Miners (19-11, 9-8 C-USA) at 1 p.m. Sunday. TU will honor seniors Kelsey Hancock and Stephanie Heim in a ceremony before Sunday's match. Tulsa is hitting .260 as a team (1559-546-3901) with 1,559 kills (14.99 k/s), 1,462 assists (14.06 a/s), 145 service aces (1.39 sa/s), 1,705 digs (16.39 dig/s) and 152.0 blocks (1.46 blk/s). Hurricane opponents are hitting .183 (1208-537-3668) with 1,208 kills (11.62 k/s), 1,141 assists (11.62 a/s), 74 aces (0.71 sa/s), 1,572 digs (15.12 dig/s), and 213.5 total blocks (2.05 blk/s).

UCF hits .243 as a team (1466-545-3794) with 1,466 kills (14.10 k/s), 1,375 assists (13.22 a/s), 120 service aces (1.15 sa/s), 1,606 digs (15.44 dig/s) and 228.5 blocks (2.20 blk/s). The Knights' opponents are hitting .179 (1241-590-3645) with 1,241 kills (11.93 k/s), 1,172 assists (11.27 a/s), 79 aces (0.76 sa/s), 1,501 digs (14.43 dig/s), and 259.0 total blocks (2.49 blk/s).

UTEP hits .231 as a team (1472-553-3986) with 1,472 kills (13.38 k/s), 1,365 assists (12.41 a/s), 140 service aces (1.27 sa/s), 1,694 digs (15.40 dig/s) and 255.0 blocks (2.32 blk/s). The Miners' opponents are hitting .187 (1374-629-3989) with 1,289 kills (11.72 k/s), 1,289 assists (11.72 a/s), 109 aces (0.99 sa/s), 1,680 digs (15.27 dig/s), and 247.5 total blocks (2.25 blk/s).

Tulsa is led on the outside by junior Tyler Henderson, who has totaled 503 kills (4.84 kills per set), a .347 attack percentage and 532.0 points for the Hurricane. Junior Diana Silva has 320 kills (3.37 k/s), 22 aces and 317 digs (3.34 dig/s). Sophomore Kellie Culbertson has 254 kills (2.47 dig/s), 25 aces and 345 digs (3.35 dig/s). Senior Kelsey Hancock has 180 kills (1.75 k/s) for TU.

Freshman middle blocker Carly Boatwright has 148 kills, 21 aces and 75.0 blocks. Sophomore Miriele Gobbo has 64.0 blocks and 104 kills. Junior libero Jessica Adams leads Tulsa with 505 digs (4.86 dig/s) and has 27 service aces. Junior setter Jordan Clampitt has 855 assists (8.38 a/s) and 195 digs (1.91 dig/s). Freshman Bailey Clampitt has 449 assists (5.41 a/s) and 108 digs (1.30 dig/s).

Tulsa and UCF have played eight times. TU leads the series, 7-1. TU defeated the Knights, 3-1, in Orlando back on Sept. 25. The Hurricane has won four in a row since 2009. The series began in 2005, and the Knights picked up its win over TU in 2008.

Tulsa and UTEP have played 49 times. UTEP leads TU, 27-22. TU defeated the Miners, 3-0, in El Paso back on Sept. 23. The Golden Hurricane has won four in a row in the series, and 10 of the last 11 meetings, dating back to the 2006 season. TU has won 11 of 13 since both teams joined C-USA in 2005, and has a 6-0 record in Tulsa during that time.
