TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Volleyball squad will face UCF in the title match of the Conference USA Volleyball Championship today at 1 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The match can be seen on CBS Sports Network, as Jason Knapp and Lindsey Berg will have the call.

The Golden Hurricane (23-9) looks to win its second C-USA Tournament title in school history, as TU took home the championship in 2007. Tulsa claimed its third straight regular season title earlier this month.

Tulsa Volleyball Drops 3-1 Contest At UCF
ORLANDO - The Tulsa volleyball team saw its six-game winning streak draw to a lose as the UCF Knights defeated the Golden Hurricane 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 24-26, 26-28) on Sunday, October 7 at The Venue.


Tulsa has been led in this tournament by the 2012 C-USA Player of the Year Tyler Henderson and the 2012 C-USA Libero of the Year Jessica Adams. In Tulsa's sweep of SMU in the quarterfinals, Henderson tallied 23 kills on just 30 swings and recorded a career-hi¬gh .700 attack percentage. She also had four service aces in the match. Against UAB in the semifinals, Adams collected 28 digs as TU swept UAB for the second time this season.

Tulsa ranks leads the conference in kills per set (14.46), in assists per frame (13.48) and digs per stanza (17.92). TU is hitting .212 on the season while foes hold an attack percentage of .172.

Henderson won her third straight Conference USA Player of the Year award this week and became only the second person in league history to be a first-team all-conference selection four straight years. Henderson leads the conference in kills per set (5.19) and points per set (5.71). She also ranks fourth in the league in hitting with a .314 clip.

Adams leads the conference in digs per set with a 5.19 average, and is only 77 digs away from becoming the conference career leader in total digs.

UCF enters Sunday's match with a 16-14 record, as the Knights are one of two Conference USA squads to defeat Tulsa during the conference season. UCF is hitting .202 on the season while foes hold an attack percentage of .191.

Angelica Crump leads the UCF attack with a 3.12 kills per set average. Tory McCutcheon is eighth in the league in hitting with a clip of .297.
