Vanessa is a senior from Houston, Texas. A four-year returning starter, she has set the school record for service aces in a career as well as career assists.

Vanessa is one of five seniors on the TU volleyball squad. All five seniors will be participating in the diaries at different times this season.

Dec. 1:
Hey everybody, well my final season has come to a close. This season was really special, not only did I truly love playing with all the girls on the team, but they're girls that I will keep in contact for the rest of my life.

The last match we played was against ORU and it was such a fun match. There's a little cross town rivalry and you could feel the aggresiveness of both the teams so we got really into the match. That feeling is one I'm going to miss a lot.

Thanks to everyone that supported this season, and really come out next year because next year's squad is going to be awesome. Good luck ladies!
