
TU Finishes Eighth at GameAbove Golf Invite

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. — The Tulsa women's golf team wrapped up its west coast swing on Tuesday, finishing eighth at the GameAbove Invitational. For the event, Tulsa totaled 28-over par, 892.
Meanwhile, host No. 2 Southern California claimed the tournament crown, finishing 22-under par 842 over the 54-hole event. To view the complete leaderboard, click here.
For the tournament, Samantha Olson finished tied for 21st, shooting six-over par 222 overall and closing with a five-over par 77. Following her, freshman Zoe Shamy shot eight-over 224 to tie for 27th and recorded her second-best round of the tournament with a two-over par 74.
Romaine Masserey and Jenni Roller finished tied for 32nd at the event. Masserey carded a four-over par 76 in the final round, while Roller matched that score for her second straight round. Together, they finished at 10 over par, 226.
Rounding out the Golden Hurricane lineup, Allyn Stephens finished in a tie for 37th place, shooting 13-over par 229. In the final round, Stephens recorded a seven-over par 79.
Looking ahead, Tulsa returns to action on Friday, March 20, when they participate in the Florida State Match Up. The event will be held at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
