IRVING, Texas — The 2026-27 American Conference women's basketball schedule has officially been released for all 13 league members. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will take on 12 conference opponents in 18 games from Dec. 31 through March 6 with the American Championship set for March 9-13 at South Florida's Yuengling Center.
With today's announcement, the full 2026-27 Tulsa women's basketball schedule is now complete and can be viewed here.
Of Tulsa's 12 American opponents, the Golden Hurricane will face six teams twice–once at home and once on the road–and take on the remaining six conference foes once in three home games and three away contests.
Four of Tulsa's conference games will be against 2026 postseason teams, including last season's American champion and March Madness participant UTSA (home and away) and WBIT selection Rice (home and away).
First, TU will open conference action at home against Memphis and East Carolina in the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Dec. 31 and Jan. 3. Tulsa escaped the Tigers in a thrilling double-overtime contest and dropped both matchups against the Pirates last season.
In the following week, Tulsa will hit the road for the Sunshine State to face South Florida on Jan. 6 and Florida Atlantic on Jan. 9.
TU will then return home to host UTSA on Jan. 13 and resume play a week later to host Charlotte on Jan. 20 before hitting the road for Houston to take on Rice on Jan. 24.
The Golden Hurricane will wrap up the January slate with an appearance in Denton, Texas, to face North Texas on Jan. 27 and a home showdown with South Florida on Jan. 30.
The first four games of February will see Tulsa split home and away games, first going to UTSA on Feb. 3 and playing Wichita State at home on Feb. 6. Then, TU goes to Philadelphia to face Temple on the 10th before welcoming Rice to the Reynolds Center on Feb. 13.
From there, Tulsa will get back on the road for games at UAB (Feb. 17) and Memphis (Feb. 20) before hosting Tulane on the 24th.
The final week of regular season action will see TU drive north to Wichita to take on the Shockers on March 3 before hosting North Texas for the finale on March 6.
The American Conference will preview the 2026-27 season on Oct. 11-12 when the league hosts the American Tipoff on ESPN+. Head Coach Angie Nelp and players Mady Cartwright and Jade Clack will represent the Golden Hurricane at the event.
