Concert and Tailgate Experience Set for East Texas A&M

TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa fans can begin Saturday's football festivities at Chapman Commons, where the Golden Hurricane Tailgate will feature live music, food, drinks and activities for fans of all ages. The Tulsa-based rock band Red Letters will provide the afternoon's entertainment as fans gather on campus ahead of Tulsa's matchup at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

The tailgating will open at 3 p.m. with DJ Chuck G on the Stage until 4:45 p.m. when the team walk begins on 11th Street. Following the team Red Letters will take the stage on Chapman Commons, bringing energy and excitement to Golden Hurricane fans ahead of the 7 p.m. kickoff.

Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early as we will honor the senior members of the Tulsa football game prior to the start of the game. The ceremony will begin around 6:30 p.m.

Tulsa-based rock band The Red Letters will bring live music to Chapman Commons as part of the pregame festivities ahead of Saturday's Tulsa Football game. The four-piece group performs an energetic selection of classic-rock and blues-inspired favorites, making it the perfect soundtrack for Golden Hurricane fans leading up to kickoff.

Fans can compete in the Tulsa Cornhole Tournament presented by Whataburger at Saturday's pregame tailgate on Chapman Commons. Check-in will take place from 3–3:30 p.m., with the tournament beginning at 3:30 p.m. The winning pair will receive free Whataburger for a year. Register your team here.

Located on Chapman Commons, the TU Tailgate features live music, inflatables and a beer garden. Fans can also reserve a space on Chapman Commons and bring their own tailgating supplies. Those interested in reserving a tailgate space can click here.

The Golden Hurricane Champions Fund and Alumni Association tailgate tents will open approximately three hours before kickoff.

Tailgating areas will open four hours before kickoff throughout the 2026 season and close 30 minutes before kickoff, allowing fans ample time to enter H.A. Chapman Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy the music and experience the game-day atmosphere before the Golden Hurricane kicks off against East Texas A&M at 7 p.m.
