Tulsa’s Katy Riojas Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team

Tulsa women's soccer player Katy Riojas was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District VII first team, as announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She is now eligible for Academic All-America recognition.
Riojas, a senior midfielder from Parkville, Mo., maintains a 4.0 GPA in mechanical engineering. She is a three-year letterwinner who has played in 71 games and tallied two assists for two points.
Riojas was awarded the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship in 2015 and was a 2014 CoSIDA Academic All-District VII second team selection. She was also named to the Tulsa President's List six times, was a C-USA Academic Medal Winner as a freshman and sophomore, and was named to the 2014-15 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team as a junior.
