Get-to-Know Tulsa Co-Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach Matt Mattox

GET TO KNOW MATT MATTOX

Tulsa fans have a chance to Get-To-Know the Golden Hurricane coaching staff during the 2015 preseason as 'CaneVision sits down with Head Coach Philip Montgomery's coaching staff.

Matt Mattox, co-offensive coordinator and line coach, is today's featured coach. Mattox came to Tulsa after one year as the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Bowling Green. Previously, he spent one year at Eastern Illinois. Before that, Mattox spent six years as the offensive line/tight ends coach in the junior college ranks, coaching at Coffeyville CC and Butler CC.

Mattox played at Butler CC before going on to play two years at the University of Houston under Art Briles.
