Tulsa Women’s Soccer Team Signs Four to National Letters-of-Intent

Tulsa Head Women's Soccer Coach Kyle Cussen announced the signing of four players for the 2016 freshman class, including Mackenzie Coupens, Alyssa Kaiser, Hailey Melton and Valiree Morris. 
 
A 5-8 defender from Edmond, Okla., Coupens plays club soccer for Oklahoma Football Club 98.  She has led her club team to three state championships (2012-15), the 2012 President's Day Cup Championship and four regional quarterfinal appearances (2012-15), while recording about eight goals and 25 assists per year.  Coupens also plays for Deer Creek High School, where she is a three-year letterwinner.  At DCHS, she has helped her team post three-straight 15-0 marks en route to claim three 5A State Championships, while posting approximately 30 goals and 30 assists.   For her efforts, Coupens is a three-time all-district and all-conference performer.
 
Kaiser, a 5-5 midfielder from Westminster, Colo., has a Top Drawer Soccer top-150 ranking and a #44 position ranking.  She plays club soccer for the Real Colorado ECNL National Team.  She has helped her team capture three ECNL Conference Championships (2013-15) and finish second (2013), third (2015) and seventh (2014) at Nationals.  Kaiser also plays for Ralston Valley High School, where she has led her team to 38 wins in three seasons.  She has recorded 38 goals and 32 assists for 108 points, and is a three-time all-conference and all-state selection.
 
A 5-4 goalkeeper from Tulsa, Okla., Melton plays club soccer for the TSC Hurricane.  In her club career, she has totaled 20 shutouts and helped her team win the 2013 ECNL Texas Championship.  Melton has been a 2013 National Training Camp participant, was a 2012 and 2013 Region III '97 pool player and was invited to the 2013 OSA Elite Goalkeeper Camp.  Melton also plays for Union High School, where she is a three-year letterwinner.  She has led UHS to a 50-7-5 mark, a 2015 6A State Championship, a 2015 Top Drawer Soccer National Championship and three district championships.  Melton has recorded 32 shutouts at Union, and has earned all-district accolades twice and all-conference honors once.
 
Morris, a 5-7 forward from Wylie, Texas, plays club soccer for FC Dallas 98.  She helped her club team finish third at the U16 and U17 Texas Conference Championships, eighth at the U16 National Champions League Finals and a 10th-place mark at the U17 National Champions League Finals.  Morris participated in the 2013 ECNL National Training Camp.  She also plays for Wylie East High School, where she is a three-year letterwinner.  At WEHS, Morris has guided her team to 68 wins, a Class 5A State Championship as a junior and a Class 4A State Runner-Up performance as a sophomore.
