Jaleel Wheeler is a 6-4 junior guard from Newark, N.J. He came to Tulsa after two years at Kilgore College in Texas, where he earned NJCAA All-American and All-Region XIV first-team honors last year. He averaged 22.3 points and 2.5 assists per game in 2015-16, while shooting 51 percent from the field and .395 beyond the arc. In his final high school season at St. George's School in Middletown, R.I., he put up 16 points and nine rebounds.
