Dominique Franks

Dominique Franks enters his third season on the Tulsa coaching staff. He will serve as the cornerbacks coach during the 2025 season.
Franks during the 2024 season, Franks was promoted to serve as the cornerbacks coach.
As a defensive quality control analyst, he joined the Golden Hurricane in February 2023.
Following his playing career, Franks coached for two years at nearby Owasso (Okla.) High School. In March 2022, he was hired as the defensive backs coach of the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL).
A fifth-round draft choice by the Atlanta Falcons in 2010, Franks spent five seasons in the NFL, including four (2010-13) with the Falcons and part of the 2014 campaign with the Baltimore Ravens. He tallied 48 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and three interceptions during his NFL career. Franks signed with the Hudson Valley Fort of the Fall Experimental Football League (FXFL) in 2015.
Franks earned second-team all-Big 12 accolades in 2008 and entered the NFL draft following his junior season as one of the top cornerback prospects.
He played a pivotal role in the Sooner's run to the national championship game in 2008 and completed his career with 95 tackles and six interceptions.
Franks had an illustrious prep career in Tulsa, playing at Union High School before playing collegiately at the University of Oklahoma (2006-09).
