Shawn Pfannenstiel has served on the Tulsa athletic staff for more than 20 years, first starting as the director of ticket operations in June 1995 and alter as director of athletic business and ticket operations. He currently serves as the senior associate athletic director for business and ticket operations,

Prior to coming to Tulsa, Pfannenstiel was the operations manager for the Wichita Baseball, Inc, for five years, where he was responsible for the budget, all business activity and coordinated all ticket activity. Previously, he was the box office manager for the Wichita Hockey, Inc. and the Wichita Wings Soccer Club for four seasons.

Pfannenstiel earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fort Hays State in 1990.
